Nappy began his recording career in 1954 and and had many hits on the Savoy label in the 50's and early 60's. Most of this album was recorded live in the studio to capture Nappy's spontaneous vocal style. From full production numbers with horns and backing vocalists to a low down solo acoustic guitar accompaniment this album spotlights the great vocal and songwriting talents of Nappy Brown. Special guest Bob Margolin plays guitar and sings a duet on one song.
