Inpatient hospice care is also available for people living with a serious illness.

Preparing for your stay

We want you to feel as comfortable as possible during your recovery. As you prepare for your stay, consider packing the following items:

  • Personal care items and adaptive equipment
  • Reading materials, crossword puzzles, knitting or other quiet activities

  • Nurse: 24/7 nursing and CNA staff provide compassionate care to ensure your medical needs are met
  • Physical therapist: Helps you gain independence with walking, moving from sitting to standing, stairs, strengthening exercises, using adaptive devices (cane, walker or wheelchair), managing pain, and fall prevention
  • Occupational therapist: Helps you gain independence with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, toileting, homemaking tasks and home safety issues
  • Speech therapist: Helps with communication, swallowing and cognitive changes
