Waldo County Dental Care, which seeks to increase access to dental care for low-income uninsured adults in Waldo County, has received a grant of $16,000 from United Midcoast Charities (UMC).

Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital will offer weekly drive-thru flu clinics beginning in the first week of September and running through the end of October.

The testing center, located at 731 Commercial St. in Rockport, will be open from 8 to 10 am, Monday through Friday.

Project DHARMA is a collaboration between AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ and several other organizations across the state to prevent overdoses and infections through harm reduction programs.
