Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) and Waldo County General Hospital (WCGH) will hold open houses on June 6 and 7 to celebrate a AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ program that for 20 years has connected our community’s most vulnerable populations to affordable health insurance and free and low cost health care and medications.

Waldo County Dental Care (WCDC) has received a $7,500 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation.

The Rockland Peer Support Center located at 12 Union Street, Rockland, invites the public to a grand re-opening celebration from 10 am to 3 pm, Saturday, June 18, to raise awareness about the center and the needs of the community it supports.

An initial wave of patients has been enrolled in Project COPD Connect, an innovative program servicing Mainers with COPD in Mid Coast Maine with support services to assist them in the management of their illness.

Pen Bay Medical Center is pleased to welcome Chandler Blodgett, PharmD, to its team. Chandler, who previously worked as a staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager at the Hannaford supermarket in Camden, will serve as manager of The Pharmacy at PBMC.

Will be open for Urgent Care needs Monday � Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. No appointment needed.

The project is supported in part by a generous $100,000 donation by Former Maine Speaker of the House and U.S. Senate Candidate Sara Gideon.

The Leapfrog group has given Maine Medical Center an ‘A� in its hospital safety grade for a 4th consecutive grading period.

This recognition marks the 9th consecutive ‘A� for Southern Maine Health Care.
